@Babylon My parents compromised since Dad wanted to name his sons after horses he won money on and Mum wanted to name her sons after previous boyfriends...
James, (the eldest, mum won there)
Ashley (Me, After a street)
Sean (Here Dad got dissuaded from a horse and wanted John, but there is too many John's on his side of the family. 'Grandma name 3 of her sons John')
Jake (The youngest, named after the John Wayne movie we had just watched. A story he took to heart and would ride an imaginary horse everywhere he went. Something he didn't grow out of till he was 12...)
