It depends. Am I the only one making changes? Are the changes I am making better for me regardless of if I am making them for the benefit of someone else? Does this person give a shit about whether or not I'm happy?
I do know why I have been single my entire life. 😂
But the above is based on a romantic relationship.
In the past I changed a lot of things about my life to care for my mom so she could live her final years in her own home instead of putting her in a facility.
So I guess under the right circumstances, I would.
