Your ability to retain information? My 12 year old brother suffers from autistic spectrum conditions as well as savant syndrome. Upon asking him this morning where we should eat breakfast he recited in its entirety, the menu including price of a Denny's restaurant.

I worked in a school once and there was a boy with autism we were chatting with. We were talking about something we learned in class on a certain day several years back and he told us he didn’t remember because he was off that day. When we checked attendance records, he truly wasn’t there that day.
