Why don’t people say where they’re from on SW?

I am from the US. Sometimes my country does things that I am ashamed of, but I am still American. Knowing where you’re from makes it easier for others in the SW family to communicate with you… to know what additional information you may require, and what time zone you may be in. I am simply referring to the fact that it’s not listed on many profiles. Most people will tell you if you ask.

@SW-User My profile says Norway. But that is where I live, not where I am from. And Marlion isn't obviously Swedish so it sounds reasonable to ask. Anyway, a lot of people don't read profiles, some seem to be averse to the very idea!
