Opposites attract but not for long...somewhere down the road you both change and then it becomes even more distant to relate to each other.
Its always good to find someone who can understand you and share your interests...coz that is what a relationship does: it gives you more opportunities to do things together.

@SW-User In my case, I was very different from my partner of 20 yrs... we didn’t share anything in common...so much so that it became a party joke!
I mean even our blood groups are A- and B+ ...can it get any more opp than that?
Having lived, travelled the world with him, I can say I would have felt less lonely had I done the same adventures with someone who was into art and literature and books n museums like I was. When in Paris, I was alone strolling around Louvre with my son for 3 days while he enjoyed his ‘meetings’ ...to each their own!
He has never been faithful to me, and that is also against my values...so many things!
So my words were strictly based on my own experience...

We're not completely different from each other, but what I love the most are the different views we can share without either one of us getting upset.
My Father didn't like when people disagreed with him, and he'd tend to be rather harsh and not so nice when that happened.

True! Since we’re all so different, it’s difficult to say what works for one might work for others too. Like for a sub, someone who’s demanding and harsh would be a turn-on...😅
