What is one of the scariest things that ever happened in your neighborhood?

@cherokeepatti Apparently there was an orange flash against the drapes, then a bang I slept through.

The residents had opened a can of ether near a gas pilot light in the basement.
At 8AM, main street was cordoned and the home looked like a doll house without its front. Beds, dressers and all, visible through the floors.

@SethGreene531 why were they opening ether at home?

@cherokeepatti Not too sure, I think it can be used for purposes other than medical. As a cleaning solvent, and in certain production processes.
It is wickedly flammable though.

@SethGreene531 could be used to knock out people and rape them

Scary stuff in the wrong hands..especially neighbors.
