Robert's is a good story illustrating what real tolerance could look like. I wish it were the norm. Sadly there are plenty of people in those & most other groups who act to make it 'fucking' rare.

@Jenny1234 I shouldn't have referred to that behavior as not being 'the norm'. That would imply knowledge of comparative statistics; which I don't have. I should have instead commented that 'bad' behavior is far more common and widespread than desirable. That's more like what I meant to convey.

I suspect that whether one sees mankind as mainly 'good' or 'bad' depends on one's current mindset - whether in a sunny, positive, or a more gloomy mood/mode. I'm glad your daily experience reinforces a benign view.
