What work of art inspires you the most?

For me, it's always been Modigliani for some odd reason I can't explain.

Modigliani’s work is pretty amazing. I grew up with this picture on the wall of the piano room in my parents’ home.
@bijouxbroussard A really nice example. Why I'm so fascinated with his work I'll never know, like so much of my life it will remain an enigma.
@bijouxbroussard

Did you know that he mostly painted his girlfriend?? The one that he always loved?? And that kid in her arm is his...
@Soossie Oh, wow ! He was a nice-looking man, too…
@bijouxbroussard

He was indeed... one unfortunate obssession that he had was Picasso... He always found himself in competition with Picasso... and he was an alcoholic too... and created such masterpieces... never fails to amaze me with his works...💖🤗🤗
@bijouxbroussard Is that Modigliani? Why he actually looks human, like anyone's neighbor.
@Grateful4you

Lol... He was certainly more than any human.. 🤗🤗
@bijouxbroussard

I love love love his sculptures too..

My favourite..

@Soossie I've never seen the sculptures. These are beautiful. I realize how commercial they have become but I still love the painter of "Light" they are awesome. In Sedona Az. I saw a few and they just draw a person in. In one boutique I saw a men's opal ring for about One Thousand, now with the diminishing opal mines in Aus. they would be worth way much more. (Kicks myself)
@Grateful4you

Auch!! But that's ok... I actually know what you mean about them becoming commercial..

He has many more better sculptures... do search for them and fall in love with him again...
