What work of art inspires you the most?

For me, it's always been Modigliani for some odd reason I can't explain.

Remeber us talking about his beautiful beautiful masterpieces??

Modigliani will always be one of my most favourite artists...

But I cant explain the feeling I had when I stood in front of MonaLisa paintings on my first visit to Louvre Museume...

I just couldnt hold my tears back and my knees felt so weak...

A masterpiece that belongs to human race....
@Soossie Yes I remember. I felt so honored being a caregiver to the very first woman curator of modern art at the Detroit institute of Art. She sat with Henry and Edsel Ford. The Louvre? WOW how very fortunate.
@Grateful4you

Oh wow!! Im sure you talked lots about art and artists... wow!!
@Soossie Yes, she was a patron to Zolton Zepshy (Hungarian artist) in return for her paying his rent he gave her paintings a few of them I got. Also, my Anne Boleyn lithograph.
@Grateful4you

Wow... now Im getting goosebumps from feeling the excitement... You have an Anne Boleyn litograph?? Wonderful...
@Soossie Yes, Holbein the younger. My treasure.
@Grateful4you

Hold on to it... dont ever let go of your sight...

🤗🤗💖
@Soossie Most of my company simply walk past without noticing, only folks like you and Bijoux would have the first clue. to them it's just, "Old stuff hanging on Davids wall, a lot of his clutter"
@Grateful4you

Uh... no!! What a shame that such a beautiful art piece is not aporeciated by the lucky people passing by it... ugh!!
@Soossie They would be more in awe of a Norman Rockwell "Thanksgiving Dinner" not that I'm dismissive of him, it has it's place (Behind the garage door)
@Grateful4you

Im going to find a photo of it on internet... dont know about it... why behind the garage door??
@Grateful4you

This is nice... litography also??

@Soossie That was sarcasm thinly disguised as humor.
@Grateful4you

Oh!! I see... lol.. silly me and my knowledge of English...b
@Soossie That poor forlorn turkey, forever immortalized by Mr. Rockwell.
@Grateful4you

🤣🤣🤣

Joseph would burst into laugh hearing this...
@Soossie Ha! you speak better english than most english teachers.
@Grateful4you

😘😘🙏
@Soossie Joseph idea of great art would have been the centerfold of Playboy magazine. Or one of those fat ladies so popular in the bars of the late 1800's
@Grateful4you Reubens I think.
@Grateful4you

Lolol... the unique way of being Joseph... I miss him..
@Soossie In ways I do, in some ways, I feel like I was merely being toyed by him. Like he loved the cat and mouse of leading me on with no really serious intent.
@Grateful4you

Forget what he did... forgive him if he was in that way... He told me how much he loved you and how much he wanted you with him... this is the truth...

🤗🤗
@Soossie Maybe so, but still I wonder if he told you those things knowing full well you would tell me the same, a sort of passive- aggressive game (?) I guess the three of us will all know eventually. Of course I forgive.
@Grateful4you

Good... hugsss and much much love to you.. 🤗🤗💖
@Soossie Same to you love. Talk again soon. Have a great day/night. Tell hubs I said "Hi!"
