There are eastern philosophies about harmony and contentment. I am trying to go back to that.
But on a global scale, I don't think it is achievable at this point. By the time things get bad, people will be eventually forced to give up things they've long considered necessities. And they will get violent in response. Some things will happen gradually and others will be drastic like the pandemic.
The only people truly able to make changes that matter are those in charge. But they don't think long term and they have no reason to.
