Sorry about your friend but what you say is true even vaccinated youre still at risk

And the one day my sister felt safe not wearing a mask is the day she caught COVID. She has become a believer in wearing masks. She suffered at home for a couple of weeks. Thankfully, like your friend, she survived the trauma. Don’t lose hope. It’s like wearing sunscreen: Enjoy life, just wear protection so you don’t get burned as much, if you can avoid it. I’m so glad your friend is okay. I hope she does not have major side effects

Your right ,I had a friend go thru that s as me thing last January. But they had no idea about COVID then.
She made it but her lungs are damaged.
I hope your friend comes out ok. The good thing is the natural immunity will protect her more than any vaccine

@Driver2 I hope so too. I've had covid, not hospitalized and 6 months later I am still having issues.

@Summerbreeze45 I had it too , it was easy on me
But still have buzzing in my head
China is responsible for all this

If there is any fat on waist that is a very good indicator that it might pull you into moderate to severe illness due to COVID. I have seen this correlation everywhere. Being fully vaccinated does not mean that your antibodies did develop, there is like a 70% chance of it.

That's scary

There is no infallible way of avoiding Covid unless you avoid all human contact. The vaccines are very good but they're not 100% effective and there are people with preexisting vulnerability which increases their odds of getting covid even with two vaccinations. It's really a lottery, where the odds are low but someone will win (or in this case lose).

@SW-User it's a scary thought but very true.
