Why is the word "homosexual ' (a scientific word) considered bad but" cis" (also scientific) considered OK?

I've never known a non trans person to be okay with 'cis' unless they are some idealistic young kid who hasn't really lived in the world and it's constantly eager to virtue signal how woke they are.

Seeing as most natal people don't like cis, isn't that reason enough to change it?

The word "homosexual" isn't considered bad where I live.

@HairbrushDiva I've never heard an American or UK news person use it in a very long time.

I don't watch Fox News, but I'd be surprised if even there the word Homosexual is used, or at least used very often.

@DrBenway probably because it's long-winded compared to 'gay.'

@DrBenway I've never been to America so I wouldn't know.
