Do you agree or disagree?

I would really like to believe that is always true, but I think how kids/people are treated over an extended amount of time... shapes them, maybe changes them and how they see themselves. Often enough, I have seen people ask what is wrong with them that others are so unkind. It's hard to get some to see that what is wrong is in the ones who chose to bully and be unkind.

@Fluffybull Yes, I agree. Bullied people are just themselves. I don't even know why I get bullied, because I am none of those things. I'm just myself.

@Manfredthemanic Sadly, bullies will pick on people for many, many reasons 😥 But remember you have friends here 👍

@Fluffybull I know and I'm happy about that. I just hope SW doesn't go away any time soon.
I totally agree. More speakers visiting schools are needed to discuss this with school kids, there's just too many kids killing themselves and others because of fking bullying.

@SW-User I will watch it soon. I'm at school now with no ear phones.

@LilMissAnonyMOUSE But I did report them, and no one is asking them to change or calling them brutes. Everyone is asking me to change. It makes me think that I'm mad or that there's something wrong with me.
@Manfredthemanic You know what I would do? If school officials are ignoring your cry for help, contact your local news agency and report what is happening and for them to make an exposè about bullying in your school. It may be a single case (which I doubt as it's normally rampant in schools)but one is way too many. The school would hate negative publicity and public scrutiny.

Another way is, gather all those who feel bullied in school and make a march and protest in front of the school and invite media people to cover the event. That may just be what that school needs to protect the bullied students and kick out the aggressors. Just please don't give up and succumb to their bullying, you have to win the fight and get out of this not as their victim but as the victor.

I wish you luck and sending your way positive energy, confidence and strength.

Given that people who're typically the target of bullies are usually meek quite types, bullying more often than not does more damage than good.
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@SW-User Yes. But that's something I don't understand. People who are bullied are told not to be quiet and meek.
My school counsellor told me to be myself, but a more confident, louder version of myself but that's not me.
My other councillor said he shouldn't have said that.
I'm confused.

@Manfredthemanic There's a time and place for everything. A time for peace, and a time to stand up for yourself.
Fluffybull · F
No, not totally. Some people never fully recover from bullying
Manfredthemanic · 16-17, M
@Fluffybull Yes. I know I'm just a kid, but it feels like that for me.
