One ex and I broke up and got back together a few times. Sometimes he’d break up with me; other times, I’d break up with him. We were young and both liked our freedom but also loved each other. We were rarely broken up for long; we just took breaks a few times. 😄

I was ghosted by someone I met on EP. He and I became very close friends, but I wanted more than he could give. One day, he just disappeared on me, and my heart shattered. Almost three years later, he messaged me here. We worked through things and are friends again, but there’s a distance between us now. We’re not as close as we used to be, and I think we need that distance. It’s good, and I’m glad we’re friends again. He makes me smile and laugh, and we just get each other. Friendships like that are rare.
