is it age or alcoholism?

I used to be a spelling maniac. I knew how to spell everything.

now....I am constantly second guessing myself and googling spelling.

the latest was "unapproachable". I got that one on the first try and I am literally shocked. but its an easy one. or should be.

by the way, the title is rhetorical.

I know its most likely due to alcohol thats deteriorating me.

if only every word was spelled phonetically 馃槶

@HellsBelle Thank you. You are very sweet. Yes, you have a very healthy attitude and approach. I loved reading that and you will be fine. I like to drink too. Everyone of us has to be careful and vigilant. Please enjoy the rest of your day. 馃槉馃馃尯

@Oster1 just curious, what do you drink and how often?
Oster1M
@HellsBelle Pretty much everything. Spirits, Wine and Beer. I鈥檓 a big guy with a very high tolerance level and always eat well, while drinking. I鈥檓 just always around it, in my circles. I could drink every evening, then get tired of it and go a week or more. Even a month.

My issue was I could keep drinking and really not feel drunk. It鈥檚 really ridiculous and not a good thing. Whenever I had the yearly physical my bloodwork was perfect. I never had high enzymes. I had ultrasound of my liver and no scarring. I do not get hangovers, the shakes or strong cravings. My Mother was French and wine was a common thing. My parents enjoyed it but none of us ever had an issue with it. Maybe it鈥檚 a genetic thing.

In conclusion, I have seen the devastation that alcohol leaves behind, many times. I was always so worried about it. I do enjoy drinking but have to really watch the amounts. No liver is immune. I know personally 90+ year old people who smoke and drink daily. There are some people who develop and die from Cirrhosis in their twenties. I do believe in supplements and foods, for the liver. Management is the key!
