why do muslims receive so much hate?

@helenS 3 thousandths out of a billion is still a pretty big number though.

@helenS I don't personally know any Muslims well enough to comment on them. There are a lot of them in my city, I see them walking around minding their own business and nobody bothers them. They tend to keep to themselves, at least here they do.

@HairbrushDiva Those I know are extremely nice people. I like them and some are good friends of mine. My best friends in university were Pakistani students. I had problems with those holier-than-thou Christians.

@AthrillatheHunt I estimate that there are about 50,000 militant Muslims world-wide, "Boko Haram", ISIS etc.; and there are 1.9 billion Muslims worldwide. That's about 0.003%.

@helenS I've nothing against people of any religion, I say live and let live. My friend Kelly converted to Christianity a few years ago and she's not the holier-than-thou type, she's the live-and-let-live type like me. There. Doesn't that prove that anybody of any religion (or lack of it) can be extremely nice people?
