What was one of the dumbest things you did as a kid to get attention?

Well, my sister had the pink-eye and I saw that she was getting all this attention, so I took the towel she washed her eye with and spread it all around my eye (trying to give myself the pink eye) and still didn't get it. 🙃

I don't remember doing anything dumb as a kid, but I'm sure I have. My sister on the other hand thought she'll have a bunch of friends by swallowing tadpoles in elementary school. Needless to say, she was more laughed at than anything.
