Have you been downvoted for good reason or for what seems like petty jealousy and bitchiness?

I posted last night, a perfectly innocent post of "show me something" I posted my steering wheel, I got a downvote and someone went downvoting replies on the post too...

Is this a feature we need??

One of my recipes was downvoted, and I didn't notice. 🤣 The people who were commenting noticed, however, and they were outraged...🤣

I have not felt it was something that was needed since it was first proposed, because there are people here whom it will upset, needlessly. It's a form of shadow banning. I went offline for a day or two in protest...but there is nothing else out there...no where else to go that is not worse.

Since there is nothing we can do about it, I propose we try to look at it in a positive way. The upside is that the people who regularly down vote us will see fewer of our posts.

And yes, there's nothing we can do about it, but no, I can't and won't look at it in a positive way as it's negative 😞
