Just ended a friendship

He has autism and hard to deal with I can’t do it anyone it’s to stressful man God forgive me but I don’t got the patience he starts fights every other day I am suprised I last this long since April I was just pushed to the edge and I just couldn’t do it no more I really couldn’t like it’s too toxic
Having a autism adult friend more stressful then i thought need help on learning to have patience if not I’ll end it help me please
- They may struggle to understand body language, facial expressions and gestures.
- Rigidity in the way people with autism can think may make it difficult for them to compromise or cope with changes in routine.
- They may latch on to previous negative experiences and expect the same thing to happen in every friendship.
- They may struggle to understand their own emotions, for example anxiety relating to friendships or jealousy.
- Texting a lot way more then a person would Which i hate
The THing that just piss me off a day since the day time it’s night now Two minutes ago I just like cut it I couldn’t no more he wouldn’t drop the fact that I said cut the conversation stop you know I don’t wanna talk about it and he’s like oh I was not raised to understand to drop a conversation I was like what are you gonna learn today and he just kept provoking provoking provoking and poke in the tiger basically and I just like I’m done
Sorry I am just vent I hope no one gets offended on this sorry if you do but I got stress, depression and high blood pressure How long you think I could take???

It may have been the healthy choice to make, removing yourself from a situation that causes you stress. No one on this site can know the full situation so ignore any negative feedback you may get.

Agree. And it’s not like I warn him I want him several times and I want him to day more than five times to drop the conversation to stop axing and he just kept provoking me and provoking me and I just couldn’t do it no more I just couldn’t like it’s to much to deal with @Tython

It happens sometimes. A person can handle only so much as you have said.

@ChulaRp Take care of yourself first maybe more time will yield results.

Not something I could deal with. I'm sorry that he has that issue, but at the end of the day it is not your problem.

@ChulaRp I have a friend who suffers from a laundry list of issues and yes, it's not always a picnic, but it always rights itself and this friend is wonderful to have. It absolutely HAS been dramatic at times.

This year my depression and my stress is the highest ever in life and I’ve told him that and on top of that I just started some high blood pressure pills recently and I just couldn’t do it anymore I felt like I’m putting him first and not me like I had to cut some friends in December of last year and that hurt but I had to because they weren’t good for me @uncalled4
ChulaRp · 36-40, F
@uncalled4 I understand that

Hopefully my son will make friends who have more patience and can deal with him better🥺
