It's the yeast of my worries

My guess is that it was relatively stable and portable which made nomadic life and eventually colonization easier.

Because it's the when there are struggles, bread is the first option to eat and fill you up...

Because it's made from grain grasses, which have a very long shelf life and is easily transportable. Much like beer, which is also sacred.

During famines bread and little else may be keeping people alive.
