Online friends gone missing... you try to get in touch and...nothing. Later, email saying friend died....
People almost always assume another has just left and that's it. But...some people, you just know they wouldn't do that to you and others... Today, I got an email that a missing friend passed away. There are so many people that will feel this and miss him so very much. Try not to take your online friends for granted.

The person who created the artwork that shapes my very existence seems to have died. They contracted COVID-19 this past November from being exposed to unvaccinated persons at work.
Imagine if their coworkers had had even the slightest bit of consideration for others. They would still be among us, drawing amazing artwork.

@CorvusBlackthorne it does nor work like that. There is no such thing as a vax that only works if some one else gets it. You are either protected by it or you are not. If you got the polio vax and I did not, it's impossible for you to get polio from me. Same with every vax ever created.
@carpediem He's stuck on this notion that had people just gotten vaccinated we wouldn't be in this situation. Never mind that only the most stubborn indoctrinated crank refuses to admit the vaccines DO NOT prevent the spread of Covid 19, and even if the US achieved 100% vaccination rates we would still be hit with variants. They came from outside the country.

@SW-User I'm sorry. I too have people here who respond poorly to me and instead of just moving on, they make it personal and follow me around.

@SumKindaMunster I had already left the other discussion and hadn't blocked him. That was my mistake. He used this topic which meant a lot to me to get another shot in. To me, that's just low.
@SW-User I'm sorry. If it helps, he's a complete moron. He made a post stating "factual" information and had actually gotten one of his "facts" wrong so I had a good laugh pointing it out to him...
