In my childhood, my older sister used to say I was weird for using big words.

but.....why is it weird?

little did she know that I couldn't even spell half of them.

As a kid, I just thought that bigger words had more specific definitions. or at least that's how it felt.

it still feels that way. and I always want the word that matches what I truly mean.

in the days of texting and typing EVERYTHING, the need to use more specific words just grows.
