As an adult, I am inclined to agree. If I am being bullied on here, it's easy to block the person, log off and forget all about it. I have a life outside of social media.
But for kids, many times these are their peers, and if they are not being accepted and are being bullied by them, its much harder to let that go. They don't have the maturity or perspective to see this is a temporary thing, and it will pass with enough time. For kids, their peers and friends are their whole world. If they are being shamed, bullied and rejected, it is much harder to be at peace with that.
