Hot take: I'm black and consider myself liberal, and...

I support BLM. BUT. I don't like how the "leaders" of the incorporated organisation are taking advantage of the public's goodwill to end institutional racism and using it to promote other things which are not relevant to the cause. Like supporting oppressive communist governments (I just found out what "BLM" said about Cuba). It's honestly frustrating because some older people who only get their news from cable networks, and bad faith Republicans will think that's what BLM is about, when it's really a movement to end institutional racism in America.
