Life Before the Computer.

A keyboard was the piano.

A mouse was an animal.

A cursor was someone who used profanity.

A program was either on the television or the radio.

A memory was something gradually lost with age.

An apple was a fruit, so was a blackberry.

A virus was an ailment.

An application was something for gaining employment.

A hard drive was an uncomfortable road trip.

The web was a spider's home.

Windows were a square hole in the room.

A file was an important piece of office material.

A CD was a bank account.

A tablet was a rectangular slab of stone.

And if you had a 3 1/2 inch floppy, you hoped against hope that nobody ever found out.

Could totally ruin the ambiance of this.

Yet will settle for just one point. Look up when the first computers where really made!

To add to your list look up specifically who, when and where the first "programing bug" was made. 馃檭馃槇

Both were most certainly before I was even conceived!
DeWayfarer61-69, M
@thewindupbirdchronicles no innuendo.

Look up either.
Both were most certainly before I was even conceived!
I remember when a high school student told me about how her middle school had introduced a new mandatory keyboarding class, and I thought she was talking about the music curriculum!
When ever was a CD a bank account, I remember very well those plastic discs who spinned out beautiful music.
Sidewinder36-40, M
@thewindupbirdchronicles CD, as in chequing deposit.
@Sidewinder Lol, I thought of music first. Chequing deposits still exist you know, the CD is becoming more of a dinosour
