Pangolins be wildin' 👄 🐜

@HannahSky They're kind of like a cross between an anteater and an armadillo. They feed primarily on ants and termites, have thick armored scales covering their bodies, big hooked claws for digging through rocks and dirt, possess no teeth, and have an incredibly long sticky tongue which may in some cases be the length of their entire body.

@HannahSky Typically in hot grasslands.

@HannahSky It protects them from being bitten by the ants that they eat. Unfortunately, it is also highly attractive to humans, and the pangolin is now endangered because it is one of the most trafficked animals in the world.

@HannahSky As do I. It's no secret to everyone that knows me that I participate either directly or by association in a wide variety of illegal activities, but animal poaching is not one of them. That shit ain't right.
