The Dark That Follows.

Thanks to @kodiac for the title. This is tied for the one I'm proudest of from my 'gimme a title' post

The two made one we walk alone
the sisters of All Hallow's
When I'm awake, and in the light
she is the dark that follows.

She takes the form of wisps and shadow
the darkest little elf.
She stays behind and let's me be
she prefers to hide herself.

Her watchful eyes observe the path
with every footstep made
Ready to pounce on any threat,
my lovely sister's shade.

When I am weak, and take the fall
she emerges to the light
it burns her eyes, she feels exposed
but she helps me in this fight.

when strength returns, and we have won
back she goes into her hollow.
