Heart songs of the watchers
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Coletracer Grigori rise on blessed wings
on heaven's path we fly.
Our eyes cast down on earth below
with silent battle cry.

Not made for war, though our swords cut deep
into the souls of hell
it is our place in heaven's choir
to watch the world for El

Gazing down on the beauty there
unbridled lust consumes
The daughters of man draws us away
though it will bring our doom.

Forgive us, father, we beg of thee
for our part in the nephilim.
Samyaza's deceit and the affront
to most holy Elohim
@SarahAndSamantha Hey Sarah where did that come from? "Grigori" ?
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Elevatorpitches Grigori is a name for the angels known as the watchers. They were the ones that couldn't contain their lust for the daughters of man, and came down to earth to 'know them' (biblical phrase for sex), creating a race of giants known as the Nephilim in the process.
@SarahAndSamantha No I mean whose title did you use?

I love your research by the way. I have read the Sitchin material and other stuff like that...😊 Are you published by any chance??
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Elevatorpitches The one I replied to. Coletracer's title of "Heartsongs of the Watchers". And, no I'm not published.
@SarahAndSamantha so you wrote TWO poems of the same title? The one about getting stood-up and the other one?

Anyway you should be published. Its wonderful work. I'm sure most people agree 😸
SarahAndSamantha · 46-50, F
@Elevatorpitches The one about getting stood up was Vivaci's title of "patience". Whoever I'm replying to suggested the title of the poem.

Thank you for the compliment. I've thought about trying to get published, but I'm honestly not good at the whole process of self promotion. Besides, I kinda just like writing them to write them.
@SarahAndSamantha I never saw Vivaci's title.

Also you're blowing my mind! Heart Song of the Watchers seems to be a perfect title for that "stood-up" poem.

And I can understand writing for just yourself. Self-promotion has a way of taking the joy out of being creative. And publishers can be hard people to deal with.

Enjoy your talent. Its not common.👃
