Darkness fell and she arose
from the depths of underground.
Strong again as shadows sway
like a goddess now uncrowned.

Anger, fear, depression mounts
she dawns the armored mask.
The incarnation of Samhain,
set upon her task.

Protect the other by any means
Hush, my sister, no need to weep.
You're safe within my cold embrace,
protected while you sleep.

By blood and blade and ruthless fear
No hand shall pass this shield
I will stand guard, my lovely twin
Until you feel you're healed.

With rest, and time, the light returned
Strong again, without her shadows
Like the goddess, now unchained.
Her Darkness fell, and she arose.
