Do you ever shop Banana Republic?

Or have they gotten too expensive? Our vintage clothing store carries much the same items for a lot less.

No but I've gotten some of their clothing from the resale shop.
@QueenandCrown In store or online? I live in a very small town.

@Grateful4you In the store,I rarely purchase clothing online. I'm a unique fit. 😌
@QueenandCrown Thats exactly why I was glad for the new vintage clothing store, I can find the off-beat without paying designer prices. The tee shirt I bought yesterday would have cost over a hundred in Beverly Hills. I paid $20.00 and it's funky.

@Grateful4you I volunteer for a nonprofit. We get clothes with tags all the time. I'm amazed at how much people spent retail for a lot of these items only for them to be given away later.
@QueenandCrown I know that. I used to model for our hospital auxiliary fashion show, amazing the designer stuff people give away to thrift stores. My favorite was a tweed smokers jacket (with the patches at the elbow) the ladies let me keep it. Never goes out of style, that jacket has been around in variations for nearly 100 years.

@Grateful4you Oh shoot! The men in my family used to wear those jackets!
@QueenandCrown No doubt an all American (and english) classic. I wear mine when flying because I can roll it up and when I land it un-rolls wrinkle free. It can be casual or dressy depending on how to accessories.
