What do you think is behind the sudden disclosures of UFO's by the Pentagon?

For years they've denied anything and everything, and now it seems as if they are doing a 180. What do you think is happening? Is this another distraction where we are supposed to look at the pretty UFO lights and not at what else might be going on?

If some beings from 100 million lightyears away has the ability to take a sightseeing trip around our tiny planet, I seriously doubt that it would be in a vehicle that would looks like it was copied from a picture in 1950's comic book :)
