@everyoneknows The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that Jesus said that in thinking about doing something, it's just as bad as doing something in actuality. You know, thought crimes! Like in George Orwell's 1984.

@everyoneknows Mathew 5:21-22 talks about being mad at your brother is akin to murder and 27-28 says that lusting after a woman is akin to committing adultery. He then talks about plucking your eye out if it causes you to sin, meaning to cut out the things from your life that cause you to do the things he doesn't like. Self regulating thought control.
