Do you trust the COVID-19 vaccines?

The vaccines don't make anyone impervious to the virus. You can still get sick, you can still infect others as a carrier. Where they're [i]very[/i] efficacious is in shortening the duration and severity should the virus be contracted. For some, that will mean the difference between life and death. And it may protect against "slow Covid," an ignored and very, very significant form of the illness.

The vaccines are developed on known, sound science; they've been tested as effective in the longest time frame we currently have, about 6 months. And potential side effects aside, you are statistically much more likely to be affected by Covid than a serious side effect of a vaccine.

So yes, 1st dose on board, 2nd one coming this Thursday.
