Do you get nervous during interviews?

I do. Last week, I had five people interview me. So I was twice as nervous and couldn't much of what I wanted to say out which caused the interview to become awkward from start to finish lol.

Panel interviews are pretty weird. My last company liked to do it that way and I've been on both sides of the table. I'm always super duper extra conscious to make sure I move my eyes from person to person as I'm talking just so I don't seem like I'm neglecting anybody.

But strangely enough, I don't actually get nervous during interviews. I think it's because I spend days preparing for them and going over my talking points dozens of times. Because of the panel format of the interview, I never get to actually talk about half of the things I intended on bringing up.

Because everyone else there has other things to do that day besides the interview, there's a set time limit, and I find that I prepared so much that I usually end up talking through most of it. Rarely do they get to ask more than two questions apiece.

It's kinda nice that way because the fewer questions are asked, the fewer opportunities I have to give poor answers and fudge the interview. Always ended up getting the job
