So earlier I posted about my boyfriend and his ex and now I’m really confused

There's no way anyone here could know the truth. You know your boyfriend better than anyone of us here. Talk to him and sort it out. People giving your guess answers is not gonna work. The best way to resolve this is by you talking to him and finding out the truth.

Just ask her if she wants him back, and if she does, tell him and then he can choose. If he chooses you then you're good. If not then you don't want him anyway.

Facebook is a dangerous site . If If was you I'd loose contact with his ex and then you wont know all that information and your head wont be wrecked and if he loves you trust in it and if he dont in time you'd know .
And being honest if he leaves it's not the end of the world . You be in pain for a couple of months .
You'll find someone else and that will make you stronger ,if not then you'd become a better person when you go through pain on your own .
Pain was the valuable lesson I got with life . It pushes you towards to like yourself more and you wont be half as insecure that in a relationship.
Relationships add insecurities that's my experience, especially if you think the relationship goes pair shaped . Depending on the person and then if your trying to make a person stay . That's were the pain comes in
