What are they doing?

I am amused by Amazon's effort to inform me they are working madly to get my order here.

In the past twenty-four hours, they have labelled my order thusly:

Not yet shipped
Preparing to ship
Shipping now

(but not yet 'shipped')

The truck that picks up orders from the shipper is idling at the dock, doors open wide and welcoming, while warehouse workers are loading my little pantry organizer onto a forklift, harmonizing on "We're Almost There."

It's so pandemic-exciting.

I had a message from a vendor a couple of weeks ago that stated the item was in shipment. Turns out, they only had made a shipment label!
@CantExplain Yes. Like they're drawing it with crayons on an index card. Then it has to go to editing, then proof-reading...

@Mamapolo2016 hehe and they probably were wondering, “where in the world is Kansas?”
@CantExplain Yep. Poring over a shredded copy of Rand McNally.
