No. (Although I assume the question is not really serious).
I hope that just not having trump tweeting constantly will allow tempers to cool.
My guess is the divide is not as great as the most extreme cases wish for.

@monte3 @TheArbitrator I couldn’t agree with your more. We need to find a way.
@TheArbitrator (this was not intended towards you.) Well you and your fellow dream crushers might feel some measure of fait a compli ......we are not blinded nor disarmed. You are dream crushers and life smashers, but the extent of your evil approaches humorous levels. I will joyfully applaud and celebrate the death of the sick ideology you favor and laud so disgustingly . I know I hate you and your ideology more than any I have ever hated any ideology in my lifetime. I know this without a seconds hesitation.

Yulianna · 26-30, F
the world needs America, despite all its failings and lapses, as a counterbalance to the authoritarian regimes of China and Russia, the populist dictatorships of Turkey, Brazil, India (democracy? lol!), and the Islamic theocracies hell bent on destroying enlightenment liberal values.

and to all those Americans to whom liberal has become a dirty word, i suggest you try to express your freedoms in an illiberal country.
TheArbitrator · 36-40, M
@Yulianna Taiwan was historically apart of China until the Japanese Empire defeated the Qing Dynasty in the Sino-Japanese war and forced China to relinquish the territory. China has every right to take back what the Japanese imperialists and British colonialists took. Why should the world be afraid of China? The USA has invaded far more countries than China has. In addition to genocide of Native Americans, enslavement, oppression and discrimination of blacks, the US continues to oppress any nation who fails to adopt our ideas of democracy and capitalism - except those whom we get something from, like Saudi Arabia.

We are at our wits end because we have accumulated too many adversaries and the only solution is that the US stop meddling in foreign affairs. We have issues within our own borders that need to be resolved.

Serious bloodshed

Are you serious? What do you think is going on right now in the Middle-East? The US empowered & armed 90% of the radical Jihadist terrorist groups, including members of Al Qaeda, ISIL, and ISIS. We have caused more bloodshed than Russia, Iran and China combined. Not even sure why you mention China. China hasn't invaded or colonialized any country. That was the US and Great Britain.
Yulianna · 26-30, F
@TheArbitrator ok, i'm sorry to point it out but i seem to be dealing with someone of level of emotional and historical ignorance beyond even my original thoughts.

China hasn't invaded or colonised any country

well, so much for Tibet then...

China has every right to take back...

add the Taiwanese people to the Tibetans, beyond your care and concern.

Why should the world be afraid of China?

the Uighur people and citizens
of Hong Kong probably have quite a few answers to that question, but again you don't seem to care about people, or maybe you have the excuse of ignorance.

Are you serious?

well, yes, i am very serious, and i am informed about the real world, not the dark and apparently deeply satisfying hell of self flagellation that you choose to inhabit. do you hate your country so much that you relish accusing it of being responsible for islamic terrorism and more bloodshed than Russia, China and Iran combined?

why are you not living in any of these countries?

or would that be too much like opening your eyes to the world?
TheArbitrator · 36-40, M
@Yulianna
well, so much for Tibet then...

Again, reclaiming territory is not the same as violating a country's sovereignty - something that the USA has an unrivalled reputation for. Tibet has been an integral part of China since the Yuan Dynasty in the 13th century and China has had some degree of suzerainty there ever since. In the 18th century, China actually liberated Tibet by defeating the Zunghar Khanatet. Prior to China's so-called "invasion" of Tibet, Tibet wasn't even recognized as a state; it was subject to chaos and feuds. Furthermore, China never sought to oppress or impose its will on Tibet. The region remains Autonomous, and China has respected the customs and laws of the Tibetans.

add the Taiwanese people to the Tibetans, beyond your care and concern.

Again, Taiwan (Republic of China) is apart of China. Taiwan was annexed from China by Japanese Imperialists. Yes, China has a right to take it back.

the Uighur people and citizens
of Hong Kong

China is a sovereign country. What China does within its borders is its business. We have our own human rights violations here in the US where blacks are treated as second class citizens, but I guess that doesn't bother you much. The resistance of many of the citizens of Hong Kong (not all) is a clear result of cultural conditioning and indoctrination implemented by the British colonialists. China is only trying to reverse the effects of British colonialism. Hong Kong belongs to China. Why is that so hard for you to accept?

do you hate your country so much that you relish accusing it of being responsible for Islamic terrorism and more bloodshed than Russia, China and Iran combined?

It's well-documented that from 1979-1989, the CIA funded & armed Al Qaeda, and empowered Osama Bin Laden, in efforts to remove Russia from Afghanistan. This information can be obtained from the US Library of Congress - Operation Cyclone. During the Libyan revolution of 2011, the Obama administration gave weapons & military strategic support to rebel fighters in order to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi. Those very same rebels went on to form ISIL and ISIS.
FrozenWasteland · 61-69, M
I see the Biden administration is already cultivating unity.
TheArbitrator · 36-40, M
@FrozenWasteland 😂 Yeah, their idea of unity is embedded in absolutism - if you're not with them, you must be obliterated.
@TheArbitrator Did you know that the GOP in several swing states actually censured their members who voted against Trump ? Even after McConnell told them to “vote your conscience” ?
How’s that for absolutism ?
And speaking of “obliterating” someone, do you remember exactly who it was storming the Capitol building and screaming for Pence’s head on January 6 (hint: it wasn’t the Democrats) ?
Tminus6453 · M
@TheArbitrator ^Best answer...wait can you get bast answer for your own question?🤔..but i guess this really never answered your original question either..🙂
Nimbus · M
Where would that leave Alaska?
@Nimbus Puerto Rico is perfect! Mid to upper eighties with a humid breeze, and lots of hard drugs!
Poppies · 61-69, F
@puck61 I love Puerto Rico. Somehow we totally missed the hard drugs on our visits there. The hurricanes are kind of a problem, and then there's the little detail that I don't speak Spanish.
nowic2 · 61-69, M
@Nimbus out in the cold?? 🤣🤣

How about simply dividing it into people who believe in crazy conspiracy theories and Trump's lies , and those who deal in objective reality ?

Which camp are you in ?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
Lets divide it up by county...

In a few weeks when blue runs out of food and suffers starvation, red can invade and take over with minimal resistance... 🤔
Can’t work. It’s blue cities vs. red rural areas. Red or blue states depend on which one predominates.
Thereyouare · 56-60, M
Yes those who pay taxes and those who live off of the government
@Thereyouare Sure let's kill the disabled🙄
Thereyouare · 56-60, M
@canusernamebemyusername let's just have Everybody pay there fair share so we can support our seniors and vetts the way we should and not the worthless Lazy selfish others out there
Are you disabled
WanderingThrough · 31-35, F
News flash: it’s already divided.

Amicus · 56-60, F
No cause divided you eventually fall
@ExperienceDLT Were your parents related? Seriously.
@puck61 aren't you at the golf course yet?
@puck61 and how do you manage to try to talk all that shit with your lips glued to Trumps ass?
sunrisehawk · 61-69, M
America is only occasionally united, but I don't see how we could divide by state as it is no more about idealogy.
alan20 · M
They've tried that over here but with distincly limited success. Change of colours to green and orange.
RealRomantic · 61-69, F
No. What's wrong with the UNITED States?
TheArbitrator · 36-40, M
@RealRomantic We are on the verge of collapse.
Thereyouare · 56-60, M
@RealRomantic I thank it simply comes down to this
We are NOT UNITED
I truly wish we were but that's not the way things are now and not going to be for a long time
RealRomantic · 61-69, F
@Thereyouare In that case it shouldn't be called the United States. It doesn't get any simpler.
It would be more profitable and convenient for everyone, if red were to simply defeat and annex blue.
LeaDhelani · 22-25, F
Like devide it and make 2 countries?
TheArbitrator · 36-40, M
@LeaDhelani Yes, two sovereign countries.
LeaDhelani · 22-25, F
@TheArbitrator Oh ok..who goes to what? Or people choose?
At this point I wouldn't have a problem with it
No, but its already happened.
No. We tried that in the 1800s. Fought a war over it. It didn’t solve anything.
SW-User
@bijouxbroussard hi well the civil war was a terrible thing but it had to happen to finally end slavery.. just to say the vast majority of white people never had slaves. It all depresses me. I love Scott Joplin. I bet you do too 🙂
@SW-User That’s true, and ultimately that was why it happened. And recently, plenty of people went to war over oil who have never owned an oilfield. It is very depressing, and we’re still seeing the fallout from the original Civil War, so I’d hate to see it happen again. I do enjoy listening to and playing ragtime, by Scott Joplin especially. 🙂
I'm an Italian girl I have it in two. lowaUS and UppaUS
midnightsun · 26-30, M
I don't care
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
Nope - surround it with a wall and let the numpties fight it out😂😂😂😂😂😂
SW-User
No it's more complicated than that. Humans will always be enemies with each other. There is no fixing that especially because there is so many of us now. Once oil runs out the shit's going to hit the fan..
