Can I take a few more years to cry?

Today I feel the loss of our daughter so much that my eyes are running over with tears. It's been over 6 years and I wish she was still here. It's not fair she was taken before she even turned 25. Her child had to go through the loss at such a young age. She remembers very little of her mother. Perhaps what she remembers is stories we have told her.

Every time she does something amazing or new I feel the urge to call my daughter but I can't. She's not here any more. The sadness and frustration of knowing I can't bring her back is overwhelming.

So you are the guardian of your daughter's stories. Her memories are alive in your heart and I can imagine there are many. So your daughter will be present in your granddaughter's life through you and through your heart. Yes, you cannot bring her back and this is very painful, but in a way she is alive in you, in the memories, in what you experienced together, in the stories.

There really is no time limit on grief for such a huge loss. Please be kind to yourself. Share as many memories as possible, and she will live on always. Big hugs to you; so sorry you're hurting.

I’m so sorry for your loss :(
Sorry for your loss
You can take as long as you want.
And, you may want to explore what really happens when someone "dies." The resources are numerous and the commonalities about the information about the "death" experience is quite compelling.

Let me know if you're interested.
Many Blessings. 🙏
