Can someone tell me, was Cyberpunk 2077 a success or a massive disaster?

I've heard both, has anyone here actually played it?

i believe it is still financially very successful. But the buggy launch cost the company aloooot of street cred.

@Jm31xxx yeah i've been playing it. Im enjoying my time with it alot but it absolutely is not finished. needs another 6 months in the oven and it really could have shines. I reckon we have management to blame for this

I've heard conflicting reports too, tbh.

The game definitely looks good and they say that the story is compelling, but others did criticize the open world to be kinda...well...dead. The NPCs on the street barely interact with you.
