Our gun laws are way too lax.

Completing a Gun safety training class should be mandatory before anyone is allowed to buy a gun. A background check and waiting period should be required for gun purchases. Military-grade guns such as the AR-15 and AK-47 should be banned.

@badminton def think there should be some level of training on operating a gun. like driving a car. Though don't really agree on the rest.

@badminton Outside of a private person to person sale, all guns bought at a gun shop or gun show require a federal background check.
Most states have a waiting period for hand guns.
Civilain bought AR-15's and AK-47's are not "military grade" as they cannot fire full auto.
