Democrats and Republicans are both hypocrites

Democrats claim Trump is undermining the election and there's no way to cheat during an election. But they accused Trump of doing just that with the russian collusion hoax. They undermined the American election process for 3 and a half years.

On the flip side, Republicans acknowledged the American votes in 2016 and that we had a sound and fair election. Now some of them are saying there was voter fraud.

Of course there are ways to cheat, but “massive fraud” hasn’t been proven.
There were some people from Russia trying to affect the election in 2016 and, while some thought it odd that Trump won a number of swing States by small margins, absent proof of fraud/tampering they needed to abide by the results.
When you claim that there’s fraud/tampering. you need to show evidence that it’s occurring....we know there’s some illegal votes cast in every election, despite the safeguards intended to prevent it.
Whether there’s a lack of large-scale fraud or there’s large-scale fraud that’s not detected, you are “innocent until proven guilty” in the eyes of the law....and fraud on that scale has so far never been detected in a US election.
Trump actually conducted an investigation into the 2016 vote, as he felt that he had won the popular vote (despite the fact that he lost it by over 3 million votes).
I wouldn’t necessarily conclude from this information that both sides (or even either side) was being hypocritical....just that both sides are more likely to contest the results if they don’t win (which is pretty much human nature).
