Veteran's Day

Veteran's Day is a complex subject for me. I'm generally not in favor of most of our recent military engagements. But the failures of our leaders over multiple administrations to properly assess which threats require force is independent from the willingness and active choice of our servicemen to be ready in the event that an actual threat to our nation arises.

Today, I offer thanks to our veterans who stood ready to defend us, even if they were not personally called to service.
