So I sent this guy on SW money because he gave me a sad story about his family starving, but now I believe he is just a bum and kinda regret sending

him anything.

I was always told by my spiritual mentors that we should help people in need as Christ directed us to. But how do we know who are in need and who are just lazy bums?

If one feels moved to help another person one should do it...

If the other person is scamming you and you have given them money in the name of the LORD then they have in effect stolen money from God..

Not only have they scammed you.. They have taken that money from some truly needy person that you would have been able to give that money to later..

What a terrifying prospect they face when they stand before the LORD on the day of judgement.. All the gold in the world is not worth facing the eternal wrath of the LORD..
