As a guy, would you enjoy receiving flowers or potted plants from your partner?

I think it would be special, especially because the act of gifting them can portray a variety of meanings depending on which flower (and even plant) that you select. Even if you don’t think that far into it, you’re breaking the typical laws of chivalry which in my opinion communicates quite a lot already.

I would appreciate the thought, but that would be about it. The problem for me is that if I had wanted flowers or potted plants I'd have already gotten them for myself. But I also tend to enjoy giving little gifts more than receiving them, so that may be part of it.

If you really wanted to get me flowers, you pick up some seeds and then we would spend a day together outside making up a little garden plot to plant them in my yard. That way we have a bonding experience with them. Though, I'd favor food producing plants over flowers still.
