Why is this site so toxic?

Why when a situation turns sour here people think its funny to get the eyes and popcorn 👀🍿emojis out

I look around here and cannot believe adults with families and real lives are behind some of these accounts

Just limit your interactions with a select group of people whom you find are kind to others on this site, and respect their opinions.

I find that works for me. Also standing up against the bullies, and reporting the trolls if you find them spreading too much toxicity helps in keeping this place clean imho.
