@Lostpoet It's nothing to be ashamed of. OK, so it's also Sting's birthday and I don't like him either, but we'll just have to live with that because he's older than either of us. Lol :)

@Lostpoet I've known for years because the radio always plays one of his hits on his birthday (my birthday) every year. This year they played "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic".

@HairbrushDiva His book was really interesting too he's had an amazing life and he seems like a genuine good guy.

@Lostpoet Maybe, I just don't like his voice or his music.

@Lostpoet They don't play that one on the radio, thank goodness. It's even worse than "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" or even "De Doo Doo Doo De Da Da Da" (which has also been on recently).

@HairbrushDiva "Every breath..." is the one I hear get beat to death the worst.

It is to the point that I do not even hear the song anymore.

@CestManan They play that one quite a lot. I think it's a creepy song, he sounds like a stalker on it. Most of my friends say the same thing.

@HairbrushDiva When I think of The Police, songs that come to mind are "Spirits in the material world" or Synchronicity II, the faster stuff.

"Every breath" has the same problem that was ongoing in the 80's - if a band has any sleepy, boring song, THAT would be the one overplayed.

@CestManan I've heard "Spirits In The Material World" occasionally but it doesn't get played as often as "Every Breath You Take", "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", "De Doo Doo Doo De Da Da Da", "Don't Stand So Close To Me", "Roxanne", "I Can't Stand Losing You", "Message In A Bottle" or "Walking On The Moon". Those are the ones that get played the most. They are all annoying drivel.

@HairbrushDiva In my experience, I WISH radio played that much variety from them. Nope, just "Every breath"

BTW, Roxanne is a song encouraging her to save on electricity.
