How frequently do people confuse oppression and inconvenience?

SatanBurger · 36-40, F
Depends on what you mean, there's too many situations that are different to say it's all inconvenience. Like for instance if you were raised in the hood with a school that has a high crime rate, you're not going to be given the same opportunities as those in the suburbs.

I'm of the view that we're all slaves and that there's different levels of slavery, I'm also equally of the view that freedom isn't what people think it means because total freedom would be horrible. Do whatever you want but that means other people can do whatever they want.

But I don't support slavery, wage slavery, poverty slavery, hourly work slavery trying to survive... somehow I don't think life was meant for that so in a sense all of that are forms of oppression but also one may be worse than another. My life isn't anywhere near as oppressed as those kids made to work in factories for consumerism for instance.
Here, a lot. lol

Inconvenienced people often confuse the terms, oppressed people know the difference.

Oppression is when liberals / socialists are in charge. Inconvenience is something short term like the short time UK inconvenienced the colonists before we kicked UK asses and did it again in 1812.
