No ,you need to look before you leap .
ask yourself ,am I enabling ,or helping .
Christ didn't just feed people ,he said to teach them to fish .
But he also said ,when we help the least of his ,we help him too .
My kids said "Dad you taught us to help people ,but you never told us when to stop " or when not to help .
First off I give if I have it to give ,and I ask nothing in return .
Then if its repaid ,then its there to help someone else ,a blessing .
If not ,I can't be disappointed ,I gave it to them .
But ,I am wiser now as to who to help ,and who to teach to fish .
That only comes from experience ,
But the rule of thumb is if you are helping ,or enabling .
We never enable anyone ..thats not helping .

@rckt148 This is a really good piece of advice. I'm going to try my best to take it to heart and live by this advice. I feel like that distinction is important and I think that's my error in thinking. I'm enabling others and need to stop.
