if we were immune to disease and did not age ( immortal but body can be damaged to death)

would we tend to live a super boring existence because we would be afraid to get hurt and die since never dying would actually be an option?

Probably not, as teens we all thought we were invincible and did many things that now as adults we shake our heads and think "How am I still alive?". The point being that no one thinks it will happen to them.

@curiosi I was just thinking, if I was like this, would I stop taking cars and just walk everywhere, I got time? considering car accidents being such a major cause of death in humans it would become one of the only ways you could die. would be worth it to avoid certain things. but maybe you're right, I can also see how right now we have a LIMITED time here, it seems good incentive to be careful and maybe just the opposite, immortal people maybe would get reckless after a few hundred years because of being bored with life and needing more intense feeling.
