The USA and South Korea reported their very first covid-19 cases on the same day.

We have over 176,000 dead people. I thought they were trying to close our borders. Then this pandemic comes along and it's business as usual come one come all. What am I missing her

South Korea took testing, social distancing, and contact tracing seriously and had a serious, organized response. Over in the U.S., we have a disorganized and decentralized response with multiple governors actively prohibiting local governments from implementing masked orders, and people think “contact tracing” is rubbing a sharpie against your eyes.
You do the opposite of what you're told, it's been hilarious watching you all over the past few years.

Under Trump's close the border rhetoric you're country actually became more open and tolerable. Now the pandemic is here you're literally under marshall law in places, but the rhetoric is the opposite.
lots of ignorance, lots of fear of less important things.

finger pointing, buck passing

Supposedly around 41 - 47 percent of our covid deaths are related to nursing home patients
